I am going to use WoofPool 98 this year. It seems simple, comprehensive, and the pick sheets can be emailed out (A HUGE BENEFIT) and imported back in. Email me with your football pool experiences, or if you just wanna blab about which team is the best!!! The programs usually won't work thru the full season unless you register them, so figure $30 to register. Take it out of the first week's pot. Look for programs (like NFL Football Pool98 and WoofPool98) that allow easy point-spread entry, and easy score updates. You should have daily access to the internet OR a newspaper for scores and point-spreads. It is a lot of work, but fun!! I think (in California at least) it is legal as long as the guy running the pool isn't running it for profit. I have found that 20 people take about 2.5 hours per week to manage, add another 0.5 hours per additional 15 or so people (gotta type the picks in for everyone).
